Sevikar is a medication used to treat high blood pressure. It belongs to a class of drugs known as angiotensin receptor blockers and calcium channel blockers. This medication helps to lower blood pressure and thereby reduces the risk of cardiovascular problems.

Sevikar works through a combination of two active ingredients: Olmesartan Medoxomil and Amlodipine Besilate. Olmesartan prevents the effects of angiotensin II, leading to the dilation of blood vessels and reduced blood pressure. Meanwhile, Amlodipine relaxes the muscles in the walls of blood vessels, helping to improve blood flow. This effective combination provides better control of blood pressure and reduces associated risks.
