Twynsta is a medication used to treat high blood pressure. It belongs to a class of drugs known as angiotensin receptor blockers and calcium channel blockers. It works to lower blood pressure, thereby reducing the risk of heart disease and strokes.

Twynsta contains two active ingredients: Telmisartan and Amlodipine Besilate. Telmisartan works by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, leading to the dilation of blood vessels and a reduction in blood pressure. Meanwhile, Amlodipine relaxes the smooth muscles in blood vessels, facilitating blood flow. This combined formulation enhances treatment effectiveness and achieves better results in blood pressure control.
