Exforge contains active ingredients including Valsartan and Amlodipine Besilate. Valsartan works by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessel constriction, leading to relaxation of blood vessels and reduced pressure. Meanwhile, Amlodipine dilates blood vessels by inhibiting calcium entry into smooth muscle cells, which helps improve blood flow. This effective combination provides better control of blood pressure and promotes heart health.
